Even more new stuff!

I was busy this weekend! I had a customer request a tiny squirrel and a tiny cupcake, so I etched some other new drawings while I was at it. I got Sherri Haab's electronic etching kit before the end of the year and was hoping to make the switch to using that instead of Ferric Chloride, but it's requiring more experimentation than I have time for right now. I broke down and bought another gallon of Ferric Chloride, which lasts me about a year. I do hope to get the electronic etching sorted out (as well as the light sensitive resist film, that was a complete disaster!) but for now I need to get things done, so I've gone back to the tried and true method. Everything pictured here is currently available at my Etsy shop.

Hello!
I just have to tell you how your blog has inspired me.

I've been selling on etsy for 3 years now, always learning new techniques. Recently, I've become obsessed w/ pmc. Saw your post on a workstation and created one of my own. Great way to stay organized!

I just bought a kiln, but have yet to use it - fear! :) Someday soon I hope to crank it up.

Thanks for your inspiration!!
Susan

I LOVE those, especially the cat and the bird. I have a quick question. I had always heard that ferric chloride is only for copper, brass and nickel only. It sounds like you are using it on fine silver; is that correct? thx
